WTS 1226 Sportsman Lake Rd. Elizabethtown , KY 42701 All WTS employees share the same philosophy -- we give our customers the level of service we would expect ourselves. Feel free to request a reference from any WTS customer. (The only current or past customer you'll find who is not happy with our service is one who doesn't pay.) We take great pride in the service we provide, and we like to get to know our customers and let them know us. WTS is unique in several ways, the most significant of which are listed below: ** We are locally owned and operated. Wayne and Barbara are life-long residents of Hardin County and Nick has lived here for five years. We trade locally, we pay our taxes locally, and we value our reputation locally. All billing and dispatching is handled in our office in Elizabethtown , and all phones are answered here - not in another county or state. ** Our owners are in the trucks on the residential routes. Wayne and Nick each run a residential route every day. Any questions/problems/suggestions can be given directly to them and handled immediately. ** We take care of our equipment. Nobody cares more about our property (and yours) than WTS. You'll never see one of our trucks leaking oil or garbage in front of your house. You'll never see us throw your can (or ours) across the street, or leave them lying in a ditch or in the road. ** We deliver! If you request a cart for your residential service, we will deliver it within 24 hours. If you need a roll-off container, tell us when you need it and we'll be there! ** We have never missed a route day. We will always collect your waste on your scheduled day. The only exception to that will be the 6 national holidays we observe each year -- New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas - when it will be collected the next day. Otherwise, your pickup day will stay the same. We are so confident in our service that if your waste is not collected as promised, we will credit your account for a free month. ** We provide same-day roll-off service. If you call for roll-off service before noon , we will have it done by that evening. If you call after noon , we guarantee it by the next day at noon . S provides residential service within the Elizabethtown and Upton city limits. (Unincorporated areas of Hardin County and other cities have exclusive contracts) WTS provides weekly service, billed quarterly, at the following rates: ELIZABETHTOWN CITY LIMITS: Residential service $12.00 per month $36.00 per quarter Residential service with 90-gallon cart $13.50 per month $40.50 per quarter Additional carts $ 6.00 per month $18.00 per quarter ANNUAL YARD WASTE COLLECTION: May 1 - April 30 $60.00 per year Compactors, packer receivers, and 10-, 20-, and 30-yard open-top roll-off containers are available for construction and industrial jobs. We offer: ** SAME-DAY SERVICE If service call is received before noon, we guarantee same-day service. If received after noon, we will provide service by noon the next day. ** NEWEST FLEET All roll-off trucks in our fleet are less than five years old. We take pride in our equipment, and correct problems as they arise. ** LOCAL OFFICE Our office is located in Elizabethtown . All calls are answered locally and we are familiar with the area. All dispatching and billing is done in Elizabethtown - no sending you to our "corporate office" in some other city or state. ** WE HAVE NEXTEL SERVICE All dispatchers and drivers have Nextel phones. You can call our land line or contact the dispatchers or drivers through Nextel Direct Connect. ** OFFICE HOURS Our office hours are 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. We have voice mail service, so if you call after hours, feel free to leave a message and we will retrieve it the next morning. If you call during office hours and we are unable to answer the phone, please leave a voice mail and be confident that it will be heard immediately. We would like to introduce you to the people dedicated to providing you with excellent service. WTS was created for one reason: To provide exceptional service in solid waste collection. Wayne Smith purchased Bluegrass Industrial & Commercial Services (BICS) from Joe Lucas in 1988. BICS was the only roll-off container provider in Hardin County , servicing industrial and construction customers. In 1993, BICS sold their assets to another waste company and Wayne was hired as Operations Manager of the Elizabethtown facility. They serviced residential, commercial, and roll-off customers, and Wayne and his employees continued to provide their customers with the service they expected. In 1999, another national company purchased that company. Wayne did not agree with their business philosophy, especially in their treatment of their customers and employees. So when he was ordered to sign a non-compete agreement " or else ", that made the decision easier to choose the " or else ". One week later, he bought his first roll-off truck, and with his wife Barbara providing the dispatching and bookkeeping services, WTS was born. They provided their new customers with a level of service of which they were not accustomed, and word-of-mouth references provided one new customer after another. In March 2000, Nick Russ joined Wayne as a partner in WTS to provide residential and commercial service to residents in the Elizabethtown city limits. Nick had also been employed by a waste service company as Operations Manager in Sellersburg , IN , and he too was disillusioned by their business philosophy. Since that time, Jeff Salsman joined WTS in July 2000 as a roll-off driver, Chad Waggoner joined WTS in November 2001 as a tipper, Bryan Stellpflug joined WTS in January 2003 as a tipper, Marty Nunn joined WTS as a roll-off and part-time residential driver in October 2003, and Jodie Hart joined WTS to help Barbara in the office in January 2004.
